Gerren Kitto
Cornish mineral and geology abstraction
Gerren Kitto grew up around the Lizard's serpentine workshops and the old copper mines. He paints abstracts drawn from cut and polished Cornish stone, layering rich mineral colour into flowing banded fields.
Gerren Kitto paints what's under Cornwall — serpentine green, copper verdigris, china-clay white, agate banding. His abstracts are macro close-ups of mineral and rock, flowing organic layers of saturated, polished geological colour.
